Regular Singular and Plural Nouns 1

The plural noun is used when more than one person or thing is referred to. A plural noun is usually formed by adding an ?s at the end of the singular noun. If the noun ends with s, x, ch, or sh, the plural noun is usually formed by adding ?es. The plural of nouns ending in y preceded by a consonant is formed by changing the y to i and adding ?es.
